Yeah, i know that tires are made differently and i was talking to my room mate the other day (RX8 driver and the guy who got me into cars) and he was saying that in a straight line lighter/wider tires are generally better, but when it comes to handling there is a line where you are no longer getting a good weight distribution to the ground; therefore, less grip... Now 245 vs. 235 probably not a huge difference in grip, but i think that 235's would be fine.
Actually, i hadnt even thought about Wedsports until i saw them on your car, but SEXY is the best word to describe it!! Since then i have gone from Superlagaros or the Rotas on *************** (how do you beat $600 wheels that look great) to those Wedsports... I've got a black MS3 too... Besides, tirerack has them on sale, tax returns are right around the corner, and, most importantly, Forged vs. Cast for about the same money (OZ vs. Wedsport)...
I am definitly leaning toward the KW right now and i would assume that the "progressive" term probably starts it's "progression" somewhere above 400 since the back is typically stiffer than the front. However, i havent seen them for the MS3 specifically, only 04+ and up for the regular 3 on vividracing.com... which i hear sketchy things about. Furthermore, generally speaking one can always talk to KW and see if they would make or currently make a stiffer set up for that coilover. When the time comes i will either buy the KWs as a first choice or the Teins as a second. I think either way i will have a good set up with stiffer spring rates and better dampening.
I dont know right now though, at the moment i just really want to get the exhaust manifold from the group buy and install that...then we'll see what happens with the suspension, wheels, and tires
