Mr. Clean Auto Dry Car Wash?

:
GLA45
Anyone tried this? I just saw a commercial for it, it has a filter that cleans out the minerals from the water that leave spots, and uses some other stuff that helps the water dry or something. I guess you have to order it to get it now, but they said it will be available Spring 2004. I'm thinking of trying it because I hate drying my car. Anyone use it or know someone who has?

if only it wasn't $30 + shipping for something that will probably run out in a few weeks, and then isn't on the market yet so i can't buy more, i would be all over it. as of now, im just considering it.

Ya i have seen this commercial numerous times too!
I also wonder if it works like they say it does on TV.:D

My first thought was it depends on the water in your area!?

well that's what i'm hoping the filter that they say is made by pur fixes. the commercial was awfully informative :)

damn, they say it takes 4-6 weeks to ship, it'll be frozen here by then and it won't be auto dry, it will be wash and watch the sheet of ice form on your car :)

man that sucks, the coldest its gonna get here is like 65, ahh man, gotta get out my jeans :p

They had a huge booth with tons of that stuff for sale down at Nopi --- I didnt venture close enough to them to actually check it out but I am very skeptical about it either way. People should stop being so damn cheap/lazy when it comes to car care. Either do it yourself using the right supplies and take as much time is needed till the job is done right or take the car to a car wash and tip the poor guys who towel it dry when its done.

I just saw the commercial too & I'm interested...I think I might try it out because my car never seems to stay clean.

4-6 weeks for the coupons, but it did say that the actual product would be in local stores starting sometime in January. It should be easy to find...the only wait is for the coupons.

yea at nopi in atlanta they had it. my future brother in law and i used it cause his car got really filthy driving down there and around so we used it. it did a pretty good job.

and yes, always tip the guys who towel dry your car because trust me, they wouldn't be towel drying your car if they had any money to begin with. Sorry bout the thread jack.
