The Dude's car in The Big Lebowski
Haha, or the one that walter smashes to pieces.
"You see what happens when you **** a stranger in the ass?!"

I saw an edited for tv version where they made him say "when you fight a stranger in the alps." (boom02)

Hardcastle and McCormick

you gotta be in your late 20s or early 30s to remember this show. But dammit, i can't remember what kind of car it was. Was red with 2 big racing strips down the middle, almost had a GT40 look. It may have even been some kind of fiberglass kit car, but back in the day, for me, it was the coolest thing on 4 wheels.

edit: found it, it was a Coyote. The later seasons it was based on a deloreon. Kinda looks pretty goofy by todays standards, but back then it was BADASS.

Holy CRAP!!! And I thought I was the only one that remember that show! Everytime I mention it to people I would always get weird looks.

My favorite part of the movie:

"Who the **** is Anna Knudsen?"

Cant remember the first name used in the movie but imagine my surprise the first time watching it and hearing my last name in a movie!!

I agree with Mike R about the blues brothers cop car. All it needs is a new cigarette lighter.

How about most of the contestants in "The Cannonball Run".

Also somebody else mentioned the Dodge concept in the movie "The Wraith".

Ferris Buellers Day Off- Ferrari 250

Not just a Ferrari 250, but a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California...

  • Cameron: The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California. Less than a hundred were made. My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion...
Ferris: It is his fault he didn't lock the garage.
  • Cameron: Ferris, my father loves this car more than life itself.
Ferris: A man with priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile.
  • Cameron: Hey, remember how mad he got when I broke my retainer? That was just a little piece of plastic. This is a Ferrari.

The Car with James Brolin is one of my fave. I also like this poster from the Bud Spencer/Terence Hill comedy "Watch Out We're Mad". A dune buggy is central to the plot. There's also a rally scene with old Ford Escorts/Capris, the Escort is in the poster too.
