It wasn't whoever REBUILT the head it was whoever put the head on. You can't install the cams and caps until the head is torqued onto the block.

So the cylinder head was assembled wrong from whoever built it in the first place. Got another engine given to me for free and turns out the cylinder head on that one is also ******. So im back on the search for a 2.0l cylinder head that is rebuildable
Good luck man. Hopefully D&W doesn't screw it up like your last shop. I'd be threatening legal action against the previous shop.
Being in Canada I don't see the need for a CAI, personally.
Ya an intercoolers not a bad idea. If i can find a cheap core and pipes than i could just ditch the stock radiatorbeing a turbo car, there is no benefit to a cold air over a short ram. The turbo heats the air up either way
I'd be more concerned looking for an efficient intercooler
