Most miles?

Ok, new guy here with a question.
Who has put the most miles on a 2.3 and what problems and maintaince did you find along the way?

I drive roughly 110 miles a day and am looking for a 200K+ mile car.

'04 3S about 109.980 miles here. Aside from regular maintenance and other issues I ad which were covered on early with the warranty, nothing to report. (Knocks on wood)

'04 3s 5-door. 111,300 miles. Just replaced the alternator this weekend (diode going bad). Aside from that no problems other than routine maintenance. FYI, I also drive almost 110 miles/day.

'04 5 door. 121,040 miles (194,775 kms)



Replaced the front pads and rotors once at about 160,000
Replaced the rear pads once.
On my second windshield, and it's cracked too (stones..)

Manual transmission fluid - once.
many many many oil changes, and lots of gas.
few sets of tires.

Serpentine belt and AC belt - still stock. to be changed soon.

Yikes re: windshield. I'd hate to see what condition your paint is in if you're getting hit by rocks that much.. (nailbyt)

It's surprisingly good considering....


I have a 3M clear bra on there, it's works fantastic.


You can see the crack in the windshield in this pic. Rock chips on the paint are minimal.

Well... ever since the new hyper strict "over 50 over" street racing laws took effect in Ontario, you can basically get away with any speed, as long as your under 50 over, nobody looks twice.

wiz by cops at 140 in a 100, and they don't even flich (fuoops)
