More issues wth eD..?

So we all know my rants form before, and now ed has decided to take their sweetass tiem getting my pieces back to me. IT IS, indeed my property, and They'v ebeen stretching out sending it, first by continuously being slow on replies, and then asking me to further clarify rediculous things. and now, after telling me "they're boxed up and ready to go" my latest responce is "they should go out in few days"

I'm really beginning to get pissed off at this. The immaturity is just continuing. Anyone form Iowa wanna go take a crap on their porch for me? It's just entirely rediculous. I was hoping to get something pieced back together sometime this summer, hell I'd already waited forever to get the damn eDi's in the first place. Now I've atleast got some nice, functioning CDT tweeters and crossovers, not to mention the parts of my speakers on which, I REALLY wanna see the supposed burn marks for myself.

I tried talking to my bank about getting my charge refunded and eD investigated through visa, but noone there realyl seemed to think anyhting like that would work. (perhaps the problem of dealing with a small bank) And now, if they continue delaying, etc, I think I may further continue looking into that, this is VERY un-cool. Anyone have any idea on what sort of legal actions I could possibly take? Much more than ayhting else I just want to be as much of a pain in their ass as they have been to me. I dont' care if it's soemthign long and drawn out, I'd much rather jsut waste their time, etc. If I can get my money back all the better.
 
Sorry about your problems with ED. I ordered a pair of E12K.44 from them and they came in within a week or week and a half. I was amazed at their speedy service, but because of their popularity, I guess demand exceeded what they have in inventory. I know of other members who have had slow as molasses service from them do to back orders. I never had a problems with them, but I guess I ordered from them at the right time. I hope it comes in soon for you.

He's not ording a product, he's trying to get the mids that he sent in for service (which they denied him) sent back to him.
 
by the time anything legal happend you'd of had them back anyway, and if you do threaton that they'd problaby keep your stuff as long as they can just to be a pain. just keep hounding them
 
I think they are try to figure out how to make the VC's discolored without it being able to be washed off :D

Someone just pointed out to me, however that apparantly Ben is only 21, which would explain alot of the maturity level around there. I had a birthday thread that they posted overthere inwhich all the guys were trying to fake nice, and "play" calling me a geezer, (at 27) kinda got me curious...
 
hey, im not even 21 yet, and im plenty mature, silly ass geezer, hahaha j/k. i cant believe all this s*** that ive heard about eD lately. i was going to order some stuff from them too, until i read your threads. its all pretty ****** up. just keep bugging them about it. id call those fuckers every day, maybe even twice a day, until something gets done. and then, when it finally gets taken care of, just take your business elsewhere and give em a nice big FU . i know theyve already lost at least one potential customer cuz of this s***...

make that at least 2....I was about to buy some of that edead liquid stuff from the group buy (poseur's recommendation! hahahaha), but since your problems, man, no way i'm going with that for now.

man, i hope EDesign get what they deserve on this one...i dunno whether they're products are good or not (poseur, you *may* have gotten a faulty product for all we know), but they're customer service blows

As far as eD. It's one thing for something to slide by quality control, I'da been okay with it if they took care of it like they should have. And I am indeed pretty pleased with my sub, but everything else is jsut rediculous. The edead's something you can get elsewhere. rown Bread, cascade, fatmat... I don't recall but there's a ton of options, and as far as the liquid, I'd really consider it not verymuch worth it for what it costs. It is indeed kind of handy to get into tight spots, but it's much less of a mess and better coverage if you can get a couple small chunks of mat layed up in there instead. Not to mention getting hartex carpet padding form your local carpet shop. at like $.040 per foot does WORLDS more for killing sound.

And yea as far as lost customers... *L* since I was the cause for atleast a dozen cancelled preorders, they actually added a "coupon" incentive to those who didn't cancel their preorders...
 
yea, its the big 21 for me in 6 days=). i had to take that day and the day after off=). anyways, i was gonna order their edead, a pair of 12s, and probably a amp from them too, but not anymore. if they cant even do simple customer service, screw em. theres more than enough places to buy car audio stuff from.

Here's my latest "ticket" message to them. I really don't intend to send many others. their stupid claim system seems to take atleast 24hrs to get anything to happen anyway.

"Just send me my parts, I REALLY don't know how much clearer than that I can make it. It is my property and I wish to have it returned to me. Whatelse can there be to it? or would you just like to draw this out for another couple weeks? I assure you it's just more time for me to boil...

BY the way, dynamat extream is far and away better then edead matts and ALOT better then that spray on crap.
 
i've tried a few different types of spray on, and they all suck. even the paint on ones are only ok at best:(

i can't believe you are going through such a hassle to get some broken pieces back. i will never recomend ED again, unless they have a huge change in policies and what not.
