Microtech LT8 for 2000 LX Protege?

I saw the Microtech LT8 Standalone Engine Management System for sale at protegegarage.com. Will this work with my car? 2000 Mazda Protege LX 1.6L? Thanks. Any other information about this item would be great also. Like installion and where does it hook up to? Thanks.

wont work with the 1.6 as the setups are different to the FS and FP. speak to turfburn and see what he can do.

I'm sure it CAN work. The Microtech is not made for the FS-DE specifically. You would just have to figure out where all the connections go since directions for hooking it up to the FS-DE will most likely not work.

oh yeah for sure, it can work, however it will need to be a custom job
