Mazdaspeed 3. Hatch or Sedan?

When I was looking for a new car, and specifically at the Mazda 3s, there was just something about the hatch that drew my attention. I really don't know what it was but it was just sleek looking, esp. in Black which is why I ordered one in that color.

The sedan was good looking too, but there was just that something else about the hatch that I just had to have. And hopefully I will have it soon enough.

Once you go 5door you won't look for anything more! (I made that up myself, aren't you proud? LOL)

I voted hatch, I just think it looks sportier, although I would pick my MSP over a MSP5(if there was one).

Sport model for sure...sedan pretty much looks like a Corolla on the outside and much more/useful cargo space in the hatch than trunk. But to each their own!

i like hatches, theyre a growing trend (although already a big trend), i just dont like the mazda3 hatchback... i vote sedan... the civic si should have stayed as a coupe, not an odd-looking disaster, the same applies to the mazda3... sorry to offend any hatchback lovers, i remain by the statement, "mazda should have kept the protege5 look for a hatchback, just upgrade the engine."

The SI has been a hatch since 1984. It's suprizing that the 99-00 were coupes. Oddly, the American public loved the coupe, as sales told the story. I'm glad the SI is a hatch again, but I don't like the car at all....

Actually, in 1984, it was just an S. I know. We had one.

The standard Civic was a 1300cc and the S was a 1500.

I've loved hatchbacks ever since then.

i got the sedan, but it wasn't really my choice, the car is my wife's i thought the hatch looked nicer but having the sedan seems to have changed my opinion i like it more and more every day

I'm not sure but it looks like the hatch and sedan share most of the body panels that would be used for a kit. Anyways I voted for the Hatch. I'm nervous about what they might put on the back of a sedan if it became a MS3....

Yeah, the spoiler situation again. The car actually looks good without one. Although, I do like the higher stock one as well. Lets hope they tame down any spoiler idea's and keep it clean and simple.

As for that kit on the hatch. Side on, I don't mind it. Back on, still not bad. It's just that front bumper that ruins it for me.
