Mazdaspeed 3. Hatch or Sedan?

there`s just something odd about the wagon, can't put my finger on it.

Funny... that's the same thing I think about the sedan.

I'm the exact opposite. I find the Sport model rear end just looks strange. I think its the window placement...

I really did like the Protege 5 look better than the sedan though.

Sport model for sure...sedan pretty much looks like a Corolla on the outside and much more/useful cargo space in the hatch than trunk. But to each their own!

I find the front of the wagon is too close to a pt cruiser for my liking.

Don't take that the wrong way, because when I see these cars on the roads, I really like them. Just that ... well, it's a wagon. I don't want a wagon. Yeah, in it's stock form, the sedan can look boring in comparison because it is not as agressive. BUT, the sedan has so much potential, and anyone with an imagination can picture it with some better wheels, small ground effect package, and so on, and I think it will be bad ass.

I'm thinking that if they come out with a wagon.....I won't get it. But a sedan, I'll trade the speed for it.

Isn't it ironic that Mazda calls the wagon the Sporty one? How screwed up is that?

Not that it will ever happen in US, but the wagon is much more appealing to me.

I think the wagon will be the speed this time around as well. Too bad. that's going to leave me with a decision to make. do I wait another year to see if there's a sedan version ( 90% sure I would ) or just settle with the wagon.

...still don't want a wagon.

I find it interesting though that this vote has been very close, tied even, most of the way so far.

I hate the new sedan, I like the new Hatch.
I would have preferred the current MSP as a hatch as well.

I don't like the point, or the handle, nor the hood on the car. Anf for a hatch, there's not a lot of "hatch" to it.

i have a sedan and wish i had a 5-door. i won't call the 3 (or P5) a wagon b/c technically it isn't. there's not enough space behind the rear seats for it to be a true station wagon. example: Focus ZX5 (5-door hatch) and Focus Wagon.
