I just read this thread for the first time.
First, Midpipes do not come with O2 bungs. If you want one you need to say so when ordering. Reason being is 70% of midpipe orders are from NA proteges.

*coughs* mine came with one and I never even mentioned wanting an extra o2 bung.. had to go and buy a 18mm oil drain plug.

I got my mid pipe from Beau about a month ago fits fine doesnt hit any thing and I have stock hangers in the front but I do have awr mounts front and rear

I'm positive you are mistaking me for someone else. Possibly the guy that had the yellow msp, mine is black. Mine does not have a flex joint and it does have a bung for the o2 sensor. I was part of the first gen buy. I don't have any details on what deal you and SPD had, but at the time I wanted a mild steel with no cat. You didn't have one at the time, but you were kind enough to extend the same price for a stainless steel pipe with a cat. The issue wasn't with my pipe hitting the crossmember, but rather that it just did not bolt up correctly. The flange looked like it was angled in correctly. Regardless, when we spoke over the phone, you stated that the next generation pipes would have this flex joint and would fix the fitment problem and the problem has been addressed for future orders. That was good enough for me.

As for SPD not paying your for the pipes, that needs to be taken up with them. I hope a resolution can be found.

As for the leverage comment, our motors torque forward and aft.
Midpipes hit the crossmember for several reasons. Saggy exhaust hangers or a bad motor mount. We all know our motor mounts suck and typically are shot within 15K miles.
If your midpipe hits, bend the hangers. It takes longer to get on the forum and type out your complaint than if you bent the hangers. Or by calling me I can help out.
As for SPD fixing your midpipe, they never even paid me for there orders. so they where dealers for less than a month..Also, they only bought 3 and they where 1-2 months before you bought yours. By the pictures I seen of your setup, it didn't look like my first Gen Midpipes.. Maybe it was one of there attempts to produce one. My first gen Midpipes did not have a flex joint and the hangers where upside down.. Yours has a flex and the hangers where different. Also, they sold it to you for like $75 or something like that if I remember, they pay more as a dealer than that.

You where one of the first 2nd Gen midpipes. Those came with O2 bungs. NA guys complainted when they got an O2 bung.. This is why we do not include them unless asked for. It's no extra charge. We just need to know of you want one.
