I ordered this one. I'll get the correct barb fittings for the hose when it shows up, mount it up, buy the hose and get everything sorted.

Now I gotta get to work on those bloody wiring harnesses...

Looks like his idea is perfect. Haha! Why did you doubt him in the first place? The wiring is my biggest fear in doing a swap, it's way beyond my skill set.

The physical wiring part is fun. But the schematics are confusing as s***. To me, at least.

The wrinkle black came out pretty well on the reservoirs. I love that paint. I left the caps chrome to break up the color a bit.

Rico, here's the wrinkle paint I always use. The valve covers on my first KL still look great. You simply apply three thick coats in a cross-hatch pattern with 5 mins between each coat then throw them in the oven at 200degrees for an hour. Open all your windows because it stinks though.

And the power steering cooler should be here tomorrow (damn, those guys work fast. It shipped the same day I placed the order at noon) then I'll be able to get that all sorted out and ready.

Looking for a paint to redo the interior now that the cage is in. I just done wanna repaint the foothwells every 4 months...

I dunno, I used the Rustoleum truck bed liner to do some of the trim pieces for my Yota, and while it's fine for trim, I don't think it would hold up at all in a bed, let alone a high traffic area like a footwell. I think even just having firewood in the bed would scrape that stuff off, lulz.

I've read good stuff about the Lizardskin DIY liner. And it's supposed to be a good sound insulator as well. A bit from their page:

"No matter what type of 4x4 you drive, LizardSkin coatings are a great way to protect the entire interior from moisture and corrosion, and can be used with or without carpeting. Since both coatings are tough and durable, they can be used as an undercoating to protect fenders and wheel wells from starring and denting from rocks kicked up from the tires. Firewalls
Removable roofs and fiberglass tops

What's the weight/specs on that battery? Looks eerily similar to my no-name ETX18L. I guess if you got it for next to nothing it doesn't matter. Throw that bad boy on a trickle charger right away!

Thanks guys. My only worry is weight. I just removed 30lbs of sound dedening and if I replace it with something just as heavy its kinda pointless hahaha

I've still got some bed liner in a can I can "test" by spraying something, letting it dry and kicking it around, if you like?

Jon, Wes bought the battery brand new from Summit and never used it so he's selling it to me for $20 less than brand new, so it's certainly not "next to nothing". I remember you mentioned that site you got your battery from as well.

Just use an epoxy base paint you will be good.

As for the battery get the one I sent to you a few months ago...

Lol, thanks for the offer but I think I'm just gonna go with a good epoxy paint like cr3 said. satin black should look nice.

Well my bushings from Mazda came in today and I got the MSP bar all greased up and bolted in. But I can't lift the subframe into place to bolt it back in by myself. Haha. But yay progress! As little as it is, it still feels good to move forward.
