altezza tail lights....they're gay. actually i realized that all exterior mods are pointless. might as well make the car faster. thats what a car is for right?

well judging by your car...yes lol. Nice work man.

just for the record it's FAGMOB Fla ALa Ga Mazda Owners Brigade, and the GACC is a psuedo car club that is more active than almost all the other "clubs" on this forum. I am not down with the rainbow but its just for fun, you'll see soon enough and all your jealous fury will be felt.

MAZDASPEED axleback for the P5, combined with with a header and high flow mid pipe.
I sounded worse than a honduh.

Magnaflow cat back so much better.

Uh oh! that was the setup I was going to go with! lol I have a mazdaspeed axleback for the P5 and was going to get headers and a midpipe. Mine doesn't drone as much as people says it does so it doesn't bother me to much.

Finally figured mine out, my worst mod is a down pipe. I have a spool kit on my car and it has a crappy down pipe that doesn't let the coolant hose enough space, in order to fit I had to flip the coolant outlet from the block and I have burned up three sets of hose now. I have finally repaired it, I used a straight metal pipe as a union for the hose and now if it rubs the downpipe nthing will happen.

If you go with a catted mid-pipe, it'll sound verrrry nice.
Once you remove the cat, the buzzing is all you hear and the grumble is all but lost after 3k rpms.

Catless 4-2-1 Header + catted midpipe + mazdaspeed axel-back = sex. (spin)
Catless 4-2-1 Header + cat-less midpipe + mazdaspeed axel-back = ass. (blarf)

I have an AEM CAI and I don't mind it. Does nobody like Injen or what? Worst mods: Spec Stage II, AEM wideband, and WRX 440's. They suck because they've all been sitting in my garage since last May. Hopefully the clutch and wideband will be in soon. I'm not putting in the injectors right now. I don't have a good EMS or money to get it all tuned and I can't afford a build if I blow it up. I am selling the injectors if anyone is interested. They are brand new in box from a Subaru dealership. Another crappy purchase: OEM bypass valve that I can't use cause I don't have a nipple on my hardpipes to circulate it. Dumb. I should just buy a 19 MM adapter for my bov and recirculate. Would that help out with my AFR's? Next bad mod will be a new LSD since I have 45K miles and I know the stock one doesn't have long. I will buy the updated and welded one from Protege Garage when the time comes. Oh yeah and I had to drop 175 on a new MAF cause mine crapped out on me. Cool thread.

My least favorite Mod is the Gut-Job the owner who had it before me did to the stereo system. Tho now it sounds like not a big loss.
Well there is also the Dented,Bent, and Cracked Cheap Ass American Racing wheels the Jackasses had put on it to Take the Nice Pimpin Racing Harts with them. ( Im all better now, got some wheels!)

I love my injen

Microtech. Sad but true. I know i know, its just a matter of tuning it to have a dependable, reliable, start-every-time car.

But lets be honest, i've had the car for two years now, 1 of which had the microtech on it, and ever since i've had it installed, i can't take the car anywhere in good faith because i'm always wondering "will it start?". I've had two different people try and tune the cold start without success. I really wish we had a piggyback that could control timing available to us so i wouldn't had to have gone full standalone. Its great for max HP, but on a daily basis, its ruined the car.

I would like to add that it is not a fault of steve at NSN, or the actual product itself, steve helped tons, but its just never going to be stock start-ability, and thats what kills it for me. How ghetto do i look trying to start my car leaving a car show? The thing isn't a damn 69 camaro, its supposed to crank and go.
