So put the new coils on, I have some pics on my computer that ill post tomorrow. The camber adjustment with these sucks ass, but the ride and dampening is WAY better
Im going to upgrade the rear springs for sure, there really soggy and compress a decent amount on long sweeping corners. Im thinking 10k front 12k rear, I had 12.5K on my old coils and the ride wasnt bad at all, so thats not something Im worried about.

Tomorrow im going to roll my rear fenders some more, slot the coils some more, and see how much camber I can get, Im barely at -1 degree right now, and thats not working with the 17x8 +38's, at least not with the size tires. SO im shooting for -2 up front and -2 in the rear, toe is zero'd out, car handles amazing. Next check im buying a rear strut bar, the springs, hard race control arms, and maybe other suspension stuff. Going for a functionly low car :D

alright, well I dialed in some camber in the rear, not sure how much until I can get it back on the alignment rack tomorrow.
but here are the random pics I promised you:

thats how the car sat before I added the camber in the rear. I have a good finger gap in the rear, camber wise. So I shouldnt rub as much any more...at least thats what Im hoping.

Thanks man, just drove it after adding the camber, still rubs on slow tight turns, like turning right at intersections and leaving my driveway, but doesnt rub at all during driving, so the higher spring rate will def help with that. Cant wait to see how it handles :) im excited

Yea, that color is pretty cool, its the same exact vinyl im using, just different color, so im sure it cost pretty much the same.

Yesterday I was trying to keep up with my buddies roush mustang, hit 11psi in 4th gear and let it ride out...until I blew a coupler off lol
scared the s*** out of me, but I had it happen before with my old setup, so I figured out what it was pretty quick. Thank god I was just down the street from my work,
so I pulled it into the bay and had it fixed in like 10 mins. a pic for anybody whos interested

Happens to gurts msp all the time apparently. The real question it......did you keep up with the mustang? And how did 11 psi feel?

Lol that happens to me too whenever my friend and I just finish working on my car. He doesn't tighten the clamp very well. Yeah +1 on if you kept up with the stang!

Hell no i didnt keep up with it, its supercharged, and its a V8....so while im waiting for my turbo to spool,
hes already pulling 3-4 car lengths away from me lol
Its not exactly stock either, so that doesnt help.

and 11psi feels awesome, car gets a little silly in 2nd and 3rd gear when I mash on it (crazy torque steer). Its awesome hearing the turbo spool up, with my T25 setup, the turbo was spooled pretty much as soon as I step on the gas, with this setup I can hear the turbo spool up and then the car just ******* slings forward lol its pretty cool.

the first time it happened to me i thought i blew my motor, and like you the second time i knew just what it was! and we have the same clamps, which are supposed to be the best!

I have a pic of the light output, but I still have some very minor tweaking to do before Ill post the pic.
I went to a car meet last night and everybody there was amazed at the light output, I like them so much, I might actually put the "TheRetrofitSource" sticker on my car lol

looks good, I know since I've had mine installed for a summer now i could never go back to Halogen lights and the Mini kits from TRS are way to easy to install that everyone should have a set.

Looks really good, Simon. So, I'm a newb at projectors, but the kit you used is basically a bolt in affair into the housing? Maybe some minor trimming to the housing then the projector sandwiches in with the large nut, no? I've got an HID kit already but projectors would be balling. I just never wanted to pay the ~$400 for MattV to make them.
