you think a no name would be that bad if i properly cleaned the surface with alcohol and possibly used adhesion promoter?

well if you used adhesive promoter, your going to need alot...but i suppose that would work.
Just be careful, some of the cheaper vinyls out there dont have alot of UV resistance, so they will fade and discolour faster. but im talking like 3 years as opposed to the 3M's 8 year outdoor life

Well I've been driving around for a few days now with the oil pan re-sealed...got the car on a lift at work, and everything is still bone dry underneath there :D
So today im going to re-wrap the exhaust that got soaked in oil, put the bumper back on, and take some pics of the wheels and other stuff.

Also, the brake parts came in the mail, turns out I ordered rear pads and rotors for a MSP :/ so im going to just take advantage of this and buy MSP rear calipers.
and I ordered AAC Bumper brackets, and the dress-up washers from HKPRO5 should be coming in sometime soon too. Got a lot of things coming :D
oh and Im tuning the car with the SSAFC until I can save up for the Haltech, its going good so far, its tuned up to 4psi and it feels great.

Well the washers came in, just havent had time to put them in. Also just ordered more vinyl to finish up the car, should be here sometime next week.

Its getting pretty cold though, so not sure when Ill have time to finish everything up

Vinyl is only workable at certain temps, i had to keep heating it up with a heatgun the other night to make sure the adhesive would do its job.
70-ish degrees is the perfect temp for vinyl, its in the 50's over here in NC so it makes it a little tough

The last time I sealed it, I used the Permatex 1 minute gasket maker stuff, along with an actual cork gasket inbetween the silicone.
I cleaned the pan with degreaser, then lightly scuffed the sealing surface with a scotchbrite and finished it with a wipe down with acetone.

Also, my second batch of vinyl came in so, now I just need to stop being lazy and finish the body work, and then I can finish wrapping the whole car...Im excited. Havent seen my car all one color in a long time.

Well the DG lip is still black, but I kinda have something else planned....you should notice it in the pics

now this lip I got from a totaled MSP, its pretty beat up and need alot of massaging to be perfect, but an hour or so with a heat gun and I already have most of the dents bend out.

Nah, thats too much work lol plus if I ever change the color of the car, then I would have to repaint the bay...
so i think Im just going to leave it like it is.
I def want to do something with the fenders, that red sticks out, but not sure what.

I was gonna say to paint the bay and the red with a high heat wrinkle black. You'll never need to repaint it.
