lol its not all the way done, heres what needs to happen.

:Need to finish rear pass door, need to wrap rear bumper, finish shaving hatch, wrap hatch, wrap spoiler, then I have to order more to wrap the A pillar all the way to the rear quarter panel in one piece on both sides....oh and Im re-doing the front bumper.

I just got an hour cut at work since I'm starting class on weds, so its either haltech or finish wrapping the car quickly. I would rather have the haltech lol

edit: and cres, its not even a tune, I tuned up to about 2 psi before I parked the car, never finished and I never will since Im buying a haltech

Well after riding my bike to work in the pouring rain, I finally got the O ring and put it in tonight. The car idles and revs much better. The AFR's keep going to 10, but I figure the ECU just has to relearn the injectors. Also after reading the list of ECU functions on the Haltech site...im leaning more towards the Sport 1000, but god dam is it expensive lol

Well the haltech has more features, more support with these cars, and is easier to work with, I also have more people locally who are licensed dealers and tuners of haltech ECU's if I would ever need someones help on tuning. Im sure I can get a deal on the price if I do a little advertisement for the shop or something

Just ordered Centric plain rotors and EBC green stuff pads for the rear, going to be ordering more vinyl to finish the car, and buying a DG grill so I can fit my oil cooler and Hella horns a little bit easier. Plus its going to clean up the front a bit too :)

Simon, I think you've said you've stripped your wheels of paint before. Any particular stripper you would recommend? Is it possible to do it with the tires still mounted? I don't have a hook up and it would be $130 to have them dismounted and mounted again. Plus they would just scratch the s*** out of my new paint job. Just curious if you had any tips. Thanks in advance.

Did you happen to strip any of the fuel pump screws?
lol yea, 2 were stripped from when I had tried to remove the pump a while ago. I used a impact driver on the rest and they came out no problem.

I just used Klean-strip KS-3 premium stripper, it works really good. I got it from walmart I think...just make sure to tape up the tires really good before hand, because it WILL eat away at the rubber.

Awesome, thanks mang. I've got some in the garage and just didn't know if there was a special kind to get. Thanks!

^If you can, use it in direct sunlight, or wherever its a little warm. The warmer it is, the better it works.

Also, test fitted my EVO8 wheels, dam they fit perfect, I cant wait to get them all on.
Also pulled the oil pan off and re sealed it, this time with a gasket and RTV sandwich.
Figured out the bolts at the end near the trans were too short, so they werent tightening all the way, threw 2 longer bolts in, and now that side is actually sealed, so no more smoking from the oil hitting the exhaust :D I love fixing little things

Ive only wrapped the front bumper, fenders, side skirts, and all 4 doors, which are pretty much the same on any model. So no, 20 ft will not be enough

how much do you think i will need? i kinda have my heart set on the matte silver right now. and im really close to just biting the bullet and ordering it

What brand? Be careful if your buying a no name brand....the adhesive on those kinda blows. and 3M's matte silver looks kinda like primer lol
I would say like 35-40 ft would be enough for the whole car and maybe have some left over if you mess anything up
