Painted all of my wiper arms and the plastic wiper arm cover satin black. Also ordered a new FMIC powder coated gloss black

FMIC showed up in the mail. Ordered all four new motor mounts. Installed MSP seats with Side airbags. Had some help from my son

Perfect time to vacuum was when those seats were out, cars coming along well grasshopper.

If you are looking for a nice upgrade to the rear wiper, get a Mazda 6 wagon, or Mazda 5 rear wiper arm. Much cleaner look(short of getting rid of it). I think it was the very first mod I did to my car.

had no clue you could get side airbags in any protege. who knew? you learn something every day.

I'm pretty sure it was the Sunroof/SSR airbag option. They are made into the top half of the seat and both front seats had an SSR badge. My airbag light would constantly flash if the airbags are unplugged so I decided to keep the seat and swap the speed skin over.

Worked on my valve cover over the weekend. Sandblasted, shaved, cleaned up some casting marks, and painted Vintage gold. I plan on removing the vintage gold dip from my wheels and painting them as well as my strut bar.

I see you removed your crossbars, you wouldn't happen to know if it is alright to leave the crossbars off if you don't have the filler caps? I took them off today and hoping that water won't come into my car because I don't have the caps, but i'm thinking it should be okay for the time being. Any idea??? thank you

I never had crossbars. I also broke both filler caps in the rear and have driven without them for over a year with 0 leaks. You should be fine

Going through your whole thread (taking me a few days in class lol), and now I finally know what I want to do with my exhaust! Sounds so good! That and your car is pretty sick in general. How much did that exhaust run ya, if you remember?

Roughly $200. from the flex joint, it's all 2.5" straight pipe and ends in a Flowmaster Renegade 2-chamber muffler. I bought a chrome exhaust tip at a local car parts store and had that welded on. Whole exhaust is one welded piece. Here is a driving video to give you an in-cabin idea. It sounds like a VR6
