JDM_Pro5's Build Thread

Still have a little cleaning to do on the tires. Contemplating on adding 2 coats of glossifier to add a bit of shine

I think it looks good. I would add the gold metalizer to it if it was me to give it more shine and depth.

Bumper on my car is OE MSP, bumper needing paint is also an OE MSP bumper.

Thanks JT for answering questions in my absence

Just have to keep your eyes open. There were a whole lot of MSPs made and even fewer are willing to give up their front bumper. Best luck is to find one that was wrecked from the sides or behind. The one I have now was from a MSP who blew their motor and then parted out the car. What you can do is fill the side marker holes on your P5 bumper and then it is exactly the same. BikingPro5 did this and it looks great!

seems it would be easier to just fill the holes rather than pay for a new bumper. its gonna get re painted anyways.

No real updates. I've been remodeling my house and doing other crap...

I got slim fans for the radiator to make room for intercooler piping.

I do have some issues to fix before further modding, these include; wheel bearing, front end links, and possibly more.

Planning on peeling the dip off my wheels and painting my wheels and VC the same gold. Dip is already trying to peel and dirt clings to it.

I'll keep everyone updated when something fun actually happens.

Hope everyone had a happy holiday!

Cause i'm lazy, and slow, and poor, and scared of breaking something. At the same time, I want it so bad. I got to fix the fact that my car squeaks like a wounded rabbit everytime it hits a bump or shifts

Okay guys, I haven't updated anything in a long time. Nothing spectacular lately, still acquiring parts for my turbo build which is nearly ready. Currently, I'm preparing to replace my front wheel bearing. I have the bearing purchased, just need to remove the hubs, press, install. While I do this, I'm going to fill my motor mounts with window weld since they are shot. I've located a set of stock wheels I can roll on for a while so I can pull the MS3 wheels and properly paint them gold. (stupid dip peels and collects dirt like nobody's business)

Hoping to change my head gasket soon. Once that is done, nothing is stopping me from installing these turbo parts.

Having trouble with my driver's-side rear-quarterpanel. It was repaired after someone collided with me 3 months after purchasing the car. turns out the repair work was terrible and it's all bondo that is now cracking. I may need locate another quarter-panel and weld it in, or get creative.

Just picked up some stock p5 wheels to ride on while I properly paint my MS3 wheels. Also picked up some MSP front seats. They need a little TLC before they are installed.

Seats need cleaning up and have a rip that my wife will sew up. They have yellow stitching. I also painted the p5 stock wheels satin black. While I driving on the P5 wheels, I plan to remove the tires from the MS3 wheels, strip the dip, prime them in a mild to dark grey, and paint them gold. Hopefully the finished product should be a gold/bronze similar to my current color. No more dip means no more peeling and no more dirt magnets.
