is it worth getting?

Personally, I love it. It does drone a bit between 4 and 5k RPMS. I generally drive by listening to the engine anyways, not watching the tach, so I like being able to hear it just a bit over the radio. Only passenger complaint I've heard was from my 61 year old father, and it was more of a comment. He also commented on the habitual clanging when I'm banging the short shifter down into the heat sheild at stop lights in 1st gear.

Mind you, he drives an Infinity I30, which you can't hear anything in, and from my last visit out to Cali, I really don't think it's much louder than my mom's G35 coupe. It's just a matter of not having as much sound absorbing material. Throw some Dynamat in it and it will likely get rid of both the intererior drone and any road noise.

Totally off topic, but I had heat shield issues too. Too some pliers, reached under, and pulled that part down a little. Fix the knocking.

it's a decent exhaust. around town it sounds very nice. once you get on the freeway it drones quite a bit after 70mph. after about a year, i got tired of it. personal experience, though.

i had the same situation and now have the MSP factory exhaust which is nice with the SRI.

for $100 you'll probably have to buy just the muffler and weld it on. on my previous car i put an arospeed muffler on it. it didn't sound ricey at all, very low and very deep without the drone. it last a couple years before my car was totaled. and i think you could find on fro $100. just an option.

alright cool, sounds good. i think thats what ill end up doing anyways, cuz its cheaper, and i dont need a full catback system (mind you its only an automatic, and im 16 lol)

thanks everybody for your help
