Is 300 Hp Possible With Msp ???

I know this has been mentioned here and there but I never saya clear answer. Is there a full engine management system available for our car?

Does it have to be made specially for our car or are there universal ones?

Haltech units are being used with GREAT success, ie HiBoost and Turboage. F10, E6K and E6X are units to look into.

Spool's Mircotech system is another alternative. Spool is working on a GReddy Emanage application as well.

MPI(perfworks) has a piggy back out, but I'm not sure if they will be offering a stand-alone unit. He should be here soon to clear that up

What i will clear up is
I am NO LONGER with that company.
MPI is on there own. And so am i.

To answer you question. THE ONLY unit that is plug and play is the microtech.
The Haltech is a seperate wiring harness that has to be run.
I dont know where terry is on the microtech and if it is out yet.
Turboge is alone with the haltech. He tuned it himself and did a great job.
Hi boost also has the F10 for thier kits . I dont know if they sell it individually or not. They also have an E6K that is tuned for the protege with maps for his kits.
As far as the MPI this is a piggyback that gets hard wired in and controls the timing and extra injectors for fuel. The option with the LARGER MAF is not really a good option yet until all the bugs are outfitted.

STI - Can ya boost it higher?

Someone told me that the STI is only boosting 9PSI stock.

Would guess that boosting to 12 would certainly make the STI an EVO killer. *shrug*

alright guys, im new to all the car tuning, so if someone could please just make me a list, in order, of what i'll need to do to break 260+ hp on the car. I mean everything i'll need to do it safely. I bought the car instead of a wrx or evo b/c i figured with about half the difference i could make it faster anyway. So money is no issue, im willing to spend $6k or more if necessary. so please someone tell me what i need so i can tell my shop what to buy and install. thanks a lot guys
