iracemine's purpose built N/A ST2 thread

If the runner length is too short and wide the power capability will never be attained due to the mechanical limitiations of this engine.

Nice work Dude :D

Glad my theory was correct. I looked at the intake manifold, but shipping kills the idea for me. By the time I pay conversion fees and shipping I seem to recall not getting much change out of 800 dollars. At that price, getting ITBs becomes about the same cost.

Btw did I read that right, that BP engines have similar port spacing? If so, ITBs just became a whole lot cheaper :)

wow about a 30whp increase. looks good in there too. can't wait to see race footage.

me too. next race is the 5th!

This is so awesome. I want 180whp NA lol

Edit: I just noticed from the OP you are only running an OBX-style header?!?! Wow imagine how much more power you would be making with an AWR, Mazdaspeed, AutoExe, or Pacemaker.

??????????

nice list really though my motors pretty much the same maybe a little bit lower compression but I have a bored out throttle body you have stage 3 integrals I have stage two and a halfand you have a higher flow intake manifold and you're pulling 25 horsepower more than mevery interesting!

looks like that 626 protege garage manifold on running is one hell of a choker.but I'll be taking care of that soon enough have you thought about running a bigger throttle body

I've got some other little tricks that you can try that should get you a couple here and there if you're interested easy.

Did you remove the coolant flow to the intake/ throttlebody? Do you still have a stock pcv? Do you have a crankcase evacuation system? What size exhaust?
