ION Downpipe

Got some info from Jack on the downpipe from their true turboback system (I think and hope), just thought others might want to know.(gossip)

Maybe this is old news, but I did not see it posted anywhere.

We're going to be offering our 1-piece down-pipe + hi-flow cat section (or optionally our race-pipe section) as a package now.

it will only be available this way, as there are very tight clearances in this area, and if not done properly will affect the rest of the system. It will also include a 3" Ss flange for your local fabricator to use if you wish to get a custom cat-back done locally.

the "j-pipe" is part of the downpipe. our downpipe is a 2 piece design and the iON downpipe is both parts combined into one part.

Don't expect an awsome deal on this guys...Keep in mind the price of the turboback to begin with...Might be a good deal for what you get, but it will probably be about $500 or so.

when i talked to jack about this months ago, he said something to the tune of $799 just for the downpipe...i hope for your sake that it is cheaper, i had my whole exhaust done for way less than that...

Its still in the works but it will be a great product. Mazda Forums - HKS C-Ti 3in Exhaust System. Also cullen is a great guy to deal with.
