Interior Leather Advice??

Which color? Sand or Black? I prefer black. My husband prefers sand with black accents. The exterior will be black. We live in a hot part of the country, but that is not an issue. I've had black leather before and liked it. Any problems with fading?

I prefer black leather too. I have the sand with black accents, black exterior, and it's quite nice. The only problem I have is the dye (blue from jeans?) transferring to the sand. Always having to scrub it off.

Tinting your windows helps to prevent fade.

Same problem here.....

In my house, I choose vehicles, and my wife chooses colors of them.
It has been working very well.

Same problem here with the blue jeans and the sand leather but I still think the CX-9 interior needs the sand color to break things up a bit. Otherwise there's just a lot of black, especially if you don't have the GT, which has a little bit of fake wood to break things up. Even the sand interior retains much of the black (e.g., just about everything below window/armrest height is black regardless of color choice).

SAND.....Stays cooler, looks clean and elegant, nice contrast with black exterior.

BLACK.....Unquestionably rich and attractive especially when leather conditioner applied, hides stains as the aforementioned blue from jeans, but hot as Hades in the summer time. Windshield sun shade helps keep out some of the heat. Driver seat not fading but showing signs of slight wear from entering and exiting.
