interior A/C Lights

pr5owner, i'd love to see pics of your interior,
blue turns must look nice!
i am going to get under seat led strips but cannot decide between red/blue
i don't have cruise or the door controls, so i never thought of the bulbs, sweet.
have you tried the fog and light dimmer bulbs, super tiny?
did you use leds for your dome light?, i used white and uv for the maps.

How did you change the HVAC Controls into blue ??
thats what im wondering.. did u rip out the stereo dash or something?

good idea... but we first need an explanation and then some pics right?

im too lazy to do a how to, well i'll do a ghetto one

1) disconnect defrost and heater wires from behind dash, for the defrost its on the driver side, you look under your dash and you will see a wire connected to a white plastic wheel thingy you can pull that off, and for the heater control you do the same but on the passenger side (this one is harder to get to) (look at blue circles)

2) being careful you use a blade or screwdriver and pry the center console out (it just snaps in like doorsills)
3) disconnect the hazard light
4) you can use a screw driver and pry the 3 knobs off, they are snap in as well
5) pull out the center console a little more, now you can use a short philips screw driver to unscrew the 4-6 screws (can't remember) that attach the HVAC and center console together (look at red circles)
6) now that the center trim thing is detached (im selling one of these BTW if anyone wants it) you will see an orange peice of plastic covering some circuity, there are 2 small screws holding this in, i had to take it out inorder for the blue leds to shine thru, if you don't take this out it will look dark grey (pretty much useless), look at the orange circles
7) now that the orange plastic thing is gone, you will need to take out the 74 bulbs, there is 2 in total (look at pink bulbs) you unscrew them from the back
8) throw in your LED bulbs, and reassemble everything

oops forgot to attach the picture

you don't have to remove the controls to change the bulbs. just pull the stereo, however i discovered this by dismantling the stereo.

I already have a new set of gauges, but my odometer and turning signals still light up green. How many #74s do I need to change these to blue?

that is very nice!!!!!!!

Thanks for the how to do too!!!!! very helpful
