Inaugural Mazdateam Cycling Extravaganza

Come on, nobody else is in for this? Is this going to be an OG Mazdateam excellency fest, or are some of you ******* going to come ride bikes?

Ok, this should have been done already, but I'm going to set the date as Sunday, 7/12/09. Everyone can meet at my place around 4pm, and we can get a decent ride in before sundown, and probably get a little loose afterwards.

1. Fear - road/bmx/fixed
2. dexter - fixed road
3. StarvingRussian - Wheels
4. Anna-chan - road (smooooottth)
5. iracemine
6. familia323 - hybrid (but it acts like a little b**** on anything but smooth)
7. Ken - old blue schwinn
8. Joel - 24 speed mountain bike from sears
9. Msp2709-bmx
10. MonoxideChild - Bmx
11. cymx5 - road/tri/mtn

I haven't meet anyone yet...but I should be in for this. I'm on of those guys with the hidden hitch on the MS3. It appears those in this thread can appreciate it's presence!

Also, I guess anyone who needs directions can just PM me.

I plan the end of the ride to culminate in a burrito-eating, booze-drinking party.

BE READY.

Also, I am about to go paint my Langster. **** me if it turns out bad.

Did you end up posting pics? Rattle can? I still need to repaint my Bontrager; was going to get it powdercoated but LoKo and Gorilla wanted an assload of money just for the frame.

Oh, D, I shot 6 coats of Rustoleum dark gray primer (can) and 6 coats of DuPont flat black via HVLP in my garage. I can do some painting for you, if you'd like.

It's a single, fixed gear, so the only way to slow down is to resist the pedal motion. You can also lock your legs and skid, but no track bikes being raced on a velodrome have brakes. Since nobody has them, nobody can slow down any faster than you (theoretically), and having brakes could actually be a safety hazard.
