If Rattles drive you crazy!** POST HERE**

hi, if rattles drive you completly crazy, then you are at the good place . the temperature has dropped recently and today it was like -20 degree celcius. Let me tell you my car rattled from everywhere and i wanted to push it off of a cliff. I dont know why, but i have never seen a car act like that. I have a header which makes the car vibrate more but DAMN!!! I dont know what the previous owner did to the car(maybe had a sub or stg) but everything is loose and rattles. There are weird rattles from the bottom doors(both doors),
and a lot of other things i cant know where its coming from. It seriously drives me crazy...its insane.

I hope im not the only one in this case. Post how you feel about it.

i have engine mount inserts so its even worse but you learn to get over it or turn up the music after a while
or just take all the stuff that can rattle out, i tried that but those plastic pieces are a kind of sound insulator, so my exhaust got louder on the inside lol

it does bug me sometimes, but not most of the time

Yeah my seat squeaks sometimes on a turn of it i move weird in it, the 2 front doors like to rattle at turns.....and certain speeds "cough" but thats normal i am assuming since its both of the front doors. Engine bay squeaks and there is a cabin leak towards the back too (i can hear the road pretty badly even at stand-still) lol they are multiplying like bunnies. SOOO glad I'm installing a new speaker system!

My car started rattling at idle today... lol... from somewhere near the rear passenger side speaker... Some days i just want to rip all the interior bits out.. And the most surprising thing is, i am still pretty much stock!!(rofl)

mine too...whats up with that? plus i have a rattle somewhere in the gauge cluster or the trim around it that won't quit. and its like i have sonic hearing when it comes to rattles

I rattle....Usually a tap, or hit, or a wack will fix the problem......or make it worse. We have 2 P5's and they both rattle like crazy....

pretty happy to see im not the only one. But I dont know if you guys have winter where you live but when temp. gets real low its like 1000x worst...really.

And my cluster rattles too but if i put my hand on it, it stops. And most of the thing that shakes are like invisible(or behind the dash lol)...i cant touch them. also, i really think about removing the doors panel and see if there are loose wires or anything cuz my doors are loud. Maybe i should take i video and post it.

winter is definatly fun for drifting but i wish my car was quiet.

My cluster rattles too. I have a piece of paper folded up between my cluster and the front cover. The screw on the top of the cluster does not stay tight. I think i need to just get a slightly bigger screw and it would tighten up. This would most likely stop rattling. Any thoughts?

put in awr front and rear mounts...88 durometer. then youll get rattle. my whole car shakes to pieces when i hit a certain rpm range idling and when the clutch engages at a certain rpm range. but the horrible rattles end after that though.
