2 25FConv Member : Mazda Protege Sep 25, 2007 #2 How do you motor mounts look? If they are starting to tear, it could possibly be that. Check on the front motor mount and on the passenger side mount those usually tend to go.......good luck

I assume this is different form the normal load the a/c compressor and electric fan put on the engine at idle. Could be a sign of a weak alternator as well. Or the EGR is starting to clog up.
