I want to chang tires.

This is my first time to change tire.First of all I don't know anything about tires. plz help me for my CX-5 GT tires.
My dealer gave me price 250 per tire same as before. .but I am not sure this is right price or not. or should I go somewhere else?
If its possible I want to change rim and wheel where should I go

$250 per tire is excessive for OEM tires. If your interested in learning, go to www.Tirerack.com and put in your car model and see what is offered. They have a section that explanes sizing, speed ratings, load rating and other parameters. ed

The original equipment tires on the 19" wheels cost $269 each from tirerack.com plus shipping. Then you would also have mounting and balancing. The cheapest non winter tire from there is $167 each.

I really recommend you look at Tirerack.com @ the Newest tire out "Continental "True Contact"
It has a 80,000-90,000 warranty. It is a "low rolling resistance"- LRR - Means best gas mileage.
Handing, comfort, noise..all great. These are the next tires I am looking at getting.

You can see a test drive with this tire on tirerack by pulling up the tire and tapping "Test" I believe.

Went into Discount Tires to repair a nail puncture & the guy was trying to sell me new tires. Car as 18k miles on the Toyos, there's not many options out there for the 225/55/19 tire size. I was hoping to get sportier tires, but they're mostly low resistance or economy tires.
