s*** rob i forgot that was you with the 'boosted glovebox' issue.
i ******* hate Mazda service. its so unfair to those of us who are HONEST. Fine, we'll all just start CHEATING AND LYING and going back to stock every dealer trip, if thats how they want to play...*******...AERGH .... im going to write a letter, just for the fckinign hell of it, i dont care if it changes something (wish it would) but i just need to tell them how much of a bunch of assholes they are...
its probably in the Mazda Gestapo Network that i have a turbo timer and 'wires to the turbo' (what the **** is that s***? morons, ******* morons) that i got my s*** hassled for when i tried to get my STOCK, TOTALLY UNRELATED PART (subwoofer) REPLACED. **** em, let em burn.
Ahh, s***, not the only guy with problems...
So, I went to the Dealer today for yet again, the radio swap. I made sure everything was stock before I went, except the boost gauge, intake, and strut bar I had installed. The guys were cool about the radio, and had asked if there was anything else to look at. I mentioned that under cold conditions, the front bushings would crunch and went into detail about how others got them replaced. Note, this is the second time I went to this dealer (bought the car there) and had my rear bushings replaced and have always been really nice to them and to me.
About an hour later I go to the cashier to pick up my keys and on the invoice it said they ordered another newly refurbished radio (second one in three days).
Also, under "inspection" (which I thought was odd), it basically reviewed the quality of the rotors/brake pads - which I thought was good.
Regarding the "crunch noise", it was stated "drove car, heard no noise, modified intake and strut bar - rattles when pushed by hand". I didn't say anything to them as it was warm, yeah, no noise (until cold), Injen doesn't rattle and CP strut bar - how the **** could they rattle that? s***, that thing is super sturdy.
So, in about a week I'll get another refurbed radio. I'm not going to say anything else but be quiet. I guess I'll have to get some bushings and do the job myself when it gets cold again.
All dealers suck around Illinois (no matter what brand of car you have).
