I Hate Mazda

You guys have some seriously ****** up dealers. I never have problems at mine, got my sway bar bushings fixed...brake hubs painted, and the msp wasnt even on the tsb..got the flash..etc. Not only that, a msp was up there next to mine with guages and what looked like to be an EBC getting warranty work done. Dont generalize and hate mazda over a ******* dealer.

so why have a boost controller or MIL or open ION S pipe (whatever that is)......it's a paper weight right?

just playing devils advocate.
I have an MBC sitting in my car that I've never used. Same deal, friend gave it to me, haven't used it though. The S-pipe is an exhaust piece....

Alot of people have had thier warrenties voided by the nazi Mazda service rep, even when its really not fair, so its not only the dealership to blame, Mazda rep's are the ones who are doing the hardcore voiding when people put up a fight.

this seriously irritates me badly...

From the stories ive read, these other people with voided warranties had to have mazda prove first the use of the aftermarket accessory causing the problem, and usually it only voids part of the warranty. an mbc in the glove box would by no means void an entire warranty. this service dept at that dealer is just ****** up, like i said

s*** rob i forgot that was you with the 'boosted glovebox' issue.
i ******* hate Mazda service. its so unfair to those of us who are HONEST. Fine, we'll all just start CHEATING AND LYING and going back to stock every dealer trip, if thats how they want to play...*******...AERGH .... im going to write a letter, just for the fckinign hell of it, i dont care if it changes something (wish it would) but i just need to tell them how much of a bunch of assholes they are...

its probably in the Mazda Gestapo Network that i have a turbo timer and 'wires to the turbo' (what the **** is that s***? morons, ******* morons) that i got my s*** hassled for when i tried to get my STOCK, TOTALLY UNRELATED PART (subwoofer) REPLACED. **** em, let em burn.
Ahh, s***, not the only guy with problems...

So, I went to the Dealer today for yet again, the radio swap. I made sure everything was stock before I went, except the boost gauge, intake, and strut bar I had installed. The guys were cool about the radio, and had asked if there was anything else to look at. I mentioned that under cold conditions, the front bushings would crunch and went into detail about how others got them replaced. Note, this is the second time I went to this dealer (bought the car there) and had my rear bushings replaced and have always been really nice to them and to me.

About an hour later I go to the cashier to pick up my keys and on the invoice it said they ordered another newly refurbished radio (second one in three days).

Also, under "inspection" (which I thought was odd), it basically reviewed the quality of the rotors/brake pads - which I thought was good.

Regarding the "crunch noise", it was stated "drove car, heard no noise, modified intake and strut bar - rattles when pushed by hand". I didn't say anything to them as it was warm, yeah, no noise (until cold), Injen doesn't rattle and CP strut bar - how the **** could they rattle that? s***, that thing is super sturdy.

So, in about a week I'll get another refurbed radio. I'm not going to say anything else but be quiet. I guess I'll have to get some bushings and do the job myself when it gets cold again.

All dealers suck around Illinois (no matter what brand of car you have).

1st that's not right that they opened up your glove compartment..the ecu is not located their..and so they had not reason to be there..that can be a nice lawsuit..

But they can't void it for being in the car..but not attached..now if you installed it..and they see a cut in the vaccum line..ur boned!

g/luck

And ALL MAZDA DEALERS ****** SUCK!

Chas

well my vacuum lines have been replaced for awhile because they were dried up and cracking, so I replaced them with silicon hoses, and gave the wastegate and bpv independent lines. Im sure theyll use the fact i replaced mazdas shortcomings against me somehow.

ya , know when i was reading the subby boards........same type prob's........subaru not honoroing warranty work........industry problem or customer problem?

Hmmmm... lets see, so far I've been denied service for the following:

-My aftermarket intake is affecting my clutch causing chatter, that and wet roads... yah.
-The fried socket on my amber sidemarker lens is a result of the gel caps I put on my signals (the same kind they use for dash lightbulbs by the way) and it affected the wiring system. Oh, but I can get that replaced if I want to spend $100 plus for a replacement side marker on the other side (which is cracked) and that one comes with a socket so I can just switch that one over the other side that's fried. Yeah, I don't think so, just replace the ******* socket asswipes.
-Got lectured by the service tech on my mods. Thanks, asshole, I didn't realize my father worked at Mazda!

My point is, Mazda didn't "prove" anything, they made these assumptions by looking at me (lack of penis have anything to do with it?) and my car. I haven't enough strong words for my experiences with Mazda service depts and their reps. (flame2)

id say both, industrys being a b**** so customers got a problem(notcool)
and please dont take the title too seriously, its not like I discredit any of the amazing things the company has done, and great vehicles, its just their business and customer relations, along with quality service really leaves something to be desired. I know every place is different, but maybe our experiences are different too. Seeing as your in your thirties, you might get more leverage around a dealership than some punk ass 20 year old with a performance car these days, with all the fast and furious s***. I just got stuck with a few crappy dealerships and a boosted glovebox.(burnout)

I realized only a short time ago that all dealerships suck. It makes me really hate owning cars because it's such a hassle to get them fixed under warranty. I had a lot of problems with Volkswagen before, because those people were jerks and looked down on the younger male population (they think we all race our cars or something like that). I'm only starting to realize that Mazda (and probably all other brands) are like that too.

Yeah, I bet that boosted glove adds about 50 whp to your car right? Riiiiiiiight... :p

I took my car there for the flash, and they let some guy back his Porsche out of their garage right into my poor speed! I hate that dealership! They looked through my entire car when I got the flash. And then they wanted to talk to me about my Injen and how it could void my warranty! I told them if they try to nark out my warranty I would sue their ass for negligence when they let some non-authorized employee drive cars in their garage. I wonder what ever happened with that...

Hey Emode, how many miles on your MSP? How old is the warranty? 12k/12month warranty on clutches right? Might be a moot issue. (boom01)

yeah, 25000 had it for about a year and a half
i dont even really care about the clutch, the whole thing just makes me mad

ive been searching for MNOAs number but cant find it, anyone have a number i should call to complain?
thanks

Send them an email. You want to have a paper trail. They once helped me straighten out my dealer on a warranty issue related to the loaner car.

My dealer told me that I could not have a loaner car because the work could be completed in less than 1 day.

They were real nice to me after Mazda laid out the facts to them.
