maybe they read this site.......

i guess this is another paperweight...

local salesman called me a week or so ago......they were blowing out evo's for around $23k. NEW

(wow) thats ship but are the new rs evos with out spoiler or the normal ones

texas always has the best deals on cars, i bet i cant find one near that up here, maybe 23 for a well used one

you come on here bad-mouthing mazda, yet you've done mod's that would void your warranty......and yet it's their fault for holding you accountable, and voiding your warranty.......(dunno)

yeah except they voided the whole damn car

im sure if you boost too high the rear bumper falls off, pretty common huh?

Emode:

I would fight them on voiding the whole warranty. I can see them standing firm on clutches, cv axles, engine parts etc....but WTF on the body parts?

Contact your local TV station for some consumer assistance. Its worth a shot and free. Hiring a laywer gets real expensive.

Don't give in yet. Good luck.

he NEVER had the boost controller or mil eliminator installed. also, please explain how the bumper falling off is somehow related to either of those

HEY ROB, J0O MU$T BO0ZT UR CaRZ So H1gH DAt TEH BUmPUR iZ FalL1NG 0Ff

what really pissed me off is that this guy knew who I was when I talked to him on the phone and set up my whole appointment, he waits till i drive all the way across milwaukee, i get out of the car, he tells me to get back in and drive my car into the service garage, then i get out and walk to the desk. He asks me whats wrong and i go through everything, then he tells me he wont touch it. I have had the bushings replaced multiple times, its a known issue, but now he wont do it. Then he opens the garage for me and i have to drive all the way back. what an assclown,

thats the exp. repair, now the other things i can see your point..........have you past history w/ this dealership?
so why have a boost controller or MIL or open ION S pipe (whatever that is)......it's a paper weight right?

just playing devils advocate.

They also brushed the clutch thing off last time blaming it on the exhaust, i asked them why, and they couldnt give me an answer.
Wait, they're misinformed on that one. Clutch chatter is caused by aftermarket intakes, duh! At least that's what my dealership told me. ******* ass hats.

the boost controller was a friends, he wanted me to try it out, and left it in my car. I never once thought a mazda tech would go snooping around through the glovebox. The mil eliminator was originally going to be used with my exhaust(ion), but then i realized i wouldnt need it after driving for thousands of miles without it and not getting a CEL, since the ion pipe doesnt throw one. Im not sure how well either would fare as a paperweight being that they are relatively small and lightweight.

i feel like this is the salem witch trials or something
should i be saying "mazda uber alles", and worry about the mazda gestapo?

I know you have no real reason to lie here..or none that i can think of but this entire story seems like bulls***. I cannot see any tech going thru a glove box and then admitting to it after finding something. On top of that, they have to prove it was on your car. They cant just void your warranty for it. You just seem too laid back for this to be true, nobody takes something like that without a fight. It would take two seconds to call MNAO, they will solve everything. Dealers dont want a bad rep, trust me..I dunno..somethings fishy here

uh, dude, ive been on here for a long time and have never lied once, its the damn internet, whats the point.

The tech at this dealer didnt say anything about them going into my glovebox, it was my friend who is a tech at a non-mazdaspeed dealer back in my hometown who mentioned it to me a few months ago. He said there was a report saying they found it in the glovebox, and it was flagged, but he didnt say the warranty was actually voided. Now today they did say it was voided.

IM just as confused about it as anyone else, but i really dont know where to begin. I am not legally inclined in any sense and i came here to get some help about what to do, like i always do. The engine isnt blown, it has no real problems, just minor ones that could be fixed easily, so why would I lie? Unfortunalty I also live in a bad apartment with no garage or tools, so I cant really do much on my own without driving back up north and getting ahold of my firends, but they have lives to that dont neccesarily revolve around me and my car, so I cant guarantee it will be done over a weekend. the only fishy thing here is that my warranty was voided for a part that wasnt on my damn car,

Which is exactly why you need to FIGHT, do not give up. Contact the owner of the dealership and contact Mazda for the name of the district manager.

Mazda knows that we are going to modify our cars. People have been modifying cars for quite some time now. You just cannot expect them to warranty something that wears out from increased boost.

Since your clutch is chattering, your throwout bearing is worn out, or oil is getting on the clutch disc. I suspect the throwout bearing.

yeah the clutch isnt even that big of a deal, since i was planning on getting a new one sometime down the road anyways, but im really easy on it. I just threw the clutch idea in there when I was at the dealership and remembered in had been chattering a bit, expected them more to just check it out and tell me the problem so I knew what to fix. I didnt expect them to fix it seeing as i have about 25000 on the car.
And it thing that really bothers me is that its like a damn battlefield when you get in there, theres no such thing as courtesy or respect between a manufacturer and a customer. We get treated like the enemy and have to fight for any respect whatsoever. I go into these places with a good attitude and try to work things out and they just shut me down.

i ******* hate Mazda service. its so unfair to those of us who are HONEST. Fine, we'll all just start CHEATING AND LYING and going back to stock every dealer trip, if thats how they want to play...*******...AERGH .... im going to write a letter, just for the fckinign hell of it, i dont care if it changes something (wish it would) but i just need to tell them how much of a bunch of assholes they are...

its probably in the Mazda Gestapo Network that i have a turbo timer and 'wires to the turbo' (what the **** is that s***? morons, ******* morons) that i got my s*** hassled for when i tried to get my STOCK, TOTALLY UNRELATED PART (subwoofer) REPLACED. **** em, let em burn.
