I am having oil line trouble

I am having a problem with my stainless steel oil lines, can I replace them with rubber or silicone ones? I know they have to withstand a certain temp and pressure but what?

I wouldn't, I would just stick w/ the braided lines. Whats your problem w/ them, and what size are you running now?

I cant cut the ones i have, so I put a hydraulic jose there for a temporary fix with a fire retardant wrap around the drain hose. We will know soon enough, I just did that 10 minutes ago. the ss one was too long and it went up and down and wasn't as straight as the one I made. I couldn't cut that stuff with anything.
