Are you crazy, so you mean to tell me that if you drive normal and then punch it you are going to waste the same amount of gas....??? Please, pass that so I can hit it up yo...

no im not saying that, im saying you will get a accrurate measure of mpg if you do it like i said, you said the only way to get an accurate measure is to drive the same through the tank , that it bulls***! the only way to get your mpg is to do it like i said

Awesome. You guys are even. I had read somewhere that Chevron Techron was the s***, and that everyone else was simply trying to match it in cleaning ability. Anyone else read the same?

I used to use Raceway gas but it was so cheap and i knew the quality was horrible so I switched to Shell, and I'm not goin back.

Might have to try this, I have been using WaWa for about two months. Only difference is that the top tier stations around me are selling regular for $2.87/$2.89 where WaWa is $2.74. Would cost me about $1.50 more to fill, so why not try it.

all gas companies claim to be the best, plus that guy in the gass delivery business told me that it all gets mixed around so if your your pupming cheveron with techron, you maybe pumping shell!

***explitive deleted***(edited by jbiird317 - dude, knock off the cursing and flaming)
dude you know you always have advice for everyone and you always conveniently "know some guy in the business" who will back up your claims. Shell is not getting the same gas as anyone else unless they are buying from the same distributer....gas delivery truck drivers dont fill some of their tank with one kind of gas and then go fill it with other gas and hope that when they deliver it shell gets mostly their gas and chevron gets theirs...
valuable lesson GSR...
Just cause some guy said something, that doesnt make it true

I'm interested in your results.

This is complete and utter bulls***. How do you calculate the difference in pushing the car and not pushing the car into your variables. I think you need to really think about wtf you are trying to say before you actually put in in black and white...

Just a thought.

dude dont be an idiot

I rest my case BUDDY...
if you fill up, drive, and fill up agian see how many gallons you used divide the mile by the number of galons. thats the only way to measure mpg accuratley if its too complicated for you , im sorry...

I love this forum! *^_^*

More drama~! Bring it on!

Anyway... I've been putting Shell since the purchase, and I'm lucky to get 23 mpg mixed driving. Other knowledgeable members have indicated that CAI increases the fuel economy, and I wonder what kind of effect a larger TMIC will have on gas mileage.

-_-a

well before the mods deleted your post you said that Shell trucks might be driving around with texaco's gas(and you called me a bunch of expletives)

Dude you have no idea what you are talking about...If the truck says Shell on the side of it. then it is driving around with shell gasoline...not the competitions gas...

^interesting thread...

do you have figure wind resistance in the equation somewhere? i mean, wind aint gonna blow the same throughout a tank of gas.

i'm gonna switch to one of the top tier's myself, see what results I get
