How To: Greddy Full Auto-timer Install

I know what happened

my turbo timer did the same thing even when hook up properly

itll shut the car off if you just put it to the ACC position...you have to give the car a slight rev and turn the key all the way and pull it out

mine did the same thing where it would shut the car off if you just put it to the acc position, though the weird thing is mine would very rarely but occasionally not turn the car off when I did that...which is why that makes me think its the turbo timer

is not only you
i too have the same problem
as does another friend of mine...
weird

i tried that still didnt work. when the key goes to start with out starting the car it comes on but says Off on the screen i can manually turn it on after that but it still doesnt keep the car on when i turn it off...heres a diagram of my ignition clip with what wires are there

TTimer.jpg

i have the red wire from the tt goin to the Black/Red. the green wire goes the the Blue, and the blue wire to the middle Black/White

splice the RED wire onto the RED wire from ignition.(shown below)
splice the GREEN wire onto blue wire (in the picture, it would be the wire behind the black/white wire)
splice the BLUE wire onto the black/white stripe wire.

ok, I know that this says to wire it into the wiring harness but Im curious as to what exactally each of these wires are for?

I know the red is the ignition hot-wire, but couldnt you hook this into ANY constant 12v wire?
and the ACC I take it is the green wire correct? so couldnt you wire this into your stereo's acc wire?

but what is the blue wire for? Is that ground? I would think so cause its hooking into a black/white wire, but I could be wrong

Im wondering this because I put my TT in the little cubby behind the cup-holders and it would be MUCH easier for me to wire the TT into the wiring harness on my stereo instead (and would have fuse-protection on it)...

any input would be greatly appreciated =)

the reason you don't wire this anywhere else, i'm guessing is the fact that the radio does not keep the engine running as neither does anything else in the car....only the key keeps the car running

damnit your right, scratch that idea....

bleh, I hate wiring into the ignition wires....oh well

does anybody know how to wire it so that i can lock my doors with the engine running?
ive been careless and left my keys in the ignition and locked the doors, so my cars just sitting there wasting gas. I do have a set of spare keys but im at work and im gonna have to go home to get them...
this wouldnt happen if i could lock the doors with my remote while the engine is running....

found the key less entry bypass in the how to section...
im gonna try this tomorrow after work

so basically if I want to have the alarm armed, I have to stand around and wait for it to shut off?

is there anyway to wire it so that you can still activate the alaram while the engine is running?
this guy wants to charge me $40 to do this, and I wanted to know if i could do it myself and save some money

this is nice since i can't read japanese! once i get around to installing mine this will help. thanks
