How much did your mazdaspeed cost?

I went in with the mindset that I wasn't going to buy the car unless they went down to 17,500. I got it for 18 but then added some warranty stuff (that I will probably void anyway) which brought the price to about 19,500.

I pay about 350 a month plus 300 or so for insurance damn the man:mad:

I bought mine in Philly at the end of July .. The sticker price was $21,000. Everything's so goddamn expensive in Philly.

But I got the rebate -- and used the fact that I'm a girl to get it dropped to $18,000. :D

That's what happens when your credit is less than perfect or you have extended yourself to the limit.

There alot of them on the lots around Southern California, so I don't see a problem with getting one for invoice + rebate. With tax and license it should be just over $19,000.

I'm going to try and swing $2000 cash+Rebate on a 2003 first (one left locally) or a 2003.5 if it's been sold by the time I'm ready to buy.

My training has been pushed back, so it will be a few more weeks before I'm ready to buy. I should get a good end of the year deal though.

Thanks for all your input guys...its been real helpful....Vega where did you see that ad at?? I live in Texas and I am very serious about looking into the ad you are telling me about. I HOPE that when I go to Munday Mazda I can get a good deal. I want a blue one and they have it. I dont think Jeff Haas has a blue one. Any more info would be helpful!!!

I got mine for $16388 about a month ago. It's a 2003.5. If you are a college student, you get another $500 dicount.

Insurance is $530 for six months.

Nice disclaimer mind if I copy and edit for myself? I was wonderin' about that with all the techs on here and what not.

I don't mind....I stole it from "nocar".....maybe I should've asked him first, but I figure with as much as mazda tries to **** me I might at least try to make them bag it up before they **** me!

The guy at the mazda dealership says the sticker price is 21000..after rebate it is 19,000. Anyone have any pointers to lower it more than 19,000 or should I just go to another dealership and see what price they have on their speeds?

what dealership did you get yours at 03MSPRO for 15999 plsu tt&l..damn i think i need to think twice about going to Munday Mazda since their sticker price is still 21000

the sticker was 21,000. I paid around 17,500 they paid for my taxes because I bought the car in another state. They delivered it to me. I also got an extended warranty for 7 years 100,000 miles. At the end I paid the sticker.

Sic03 Mazda

tell the guy that you can get it ANYWHERE ELSE for dealer invoice (or even less) minus the cashback....on top of that, in october they would receive a bonus from mazda of 500$ if they sold one...dunno if it still applies this month (check edmunds.com)...

just look at the inventory on www.mazdausa.com and youl quickly realize that they still have a lot of them and they need to get rid of them quickly (because of the 3s) AND they also know that it won't sell too good this winter because the tires are worthless in the snow...

time to get yourself a good deal!

yeah $21000 is the sticker price (MSRP)...never bargain from that price. Ask them what their invoice price is and bargain from there. Invoice is basically what they paid the distributors for the car. This is usually around $19000 I think. So from the invoice, subtract the $1500 cash back rebate, if you're a recent college grad or will be in the next 6 months that's a further $500, if you participated in the Mazda Rev it Up competition that's $250, and if you already own a mazda that's a further $1000 off, also, tell them you don't want "Theft Guard", that's $400 off, and tell them you think it's ridiculous to pay dealer fees, that's $500+ off....that's a total of $4150 off if u qualify for all those...for a final price of $14850. Also make sure you tell them you're not interested in any APR over 4%. Shoot for 3.5%, and have a little room to negotiate to about 3.75% if they say you're killing them.
