yeah $21000 is the sticker price (MSRP)...never bargain from that price. Ask them what their invoice price is and bargain from there. Invoice is basically what they paid the distributors for the car. This is usually around $19000 I think. So from the invoice, subtract the $1500 cash back rebate, if you're a recent college grad or will be in the next 6 months that's a further $500, if you participated in the Mazda Rev it Up competition that's $250, and if you already own a mazda that's a further $1000 off, also, tell them you don't want "Theft Guard", that's $400 off, and tell them you think it's ridiculous to pay dealer fees, that's $500+ off....that's a total of $4150 off if u qualify for all those...for a final price of $14850. Also make sure you tell them you're not interested in any APR over 4%. Shoot for 3.5%, and have a little room to negotiate to about 3.75% if they say you're killing them.
