I have been calling all over town to autozone, advance auto, the Mazda Dealer in town, and i can not find anyone who has or will order the NGK BKR7E spark plugs for me. Mazda told me that they would be like $14.50 a piece which is rediculous. The ones from sparkplug.com are cheap, but shipping costs just as much as the spark plugs. Can anyone tell me how they got their plugs and from where?

O'Reilly Auto Parts sold me a set for $1.89 a piece. Otherwise I think you can get some from Mystere.

these are a set of V-Powers right?

Go to Napa, #6097. Less than $8 and they have them in stock.

You all are not talking about the same plugs, 112vega, i checked that part number from napa and those are not NGK plugs, they are autolite spark plugs. I also called the advance in my town and they didnt even have that model in their order catalog. I am located in champaign IL, so i have no idea what oreillly auto parts and mystere is phreak. Anyway, if any else has any more info besides ordering them online let me know. Thank you.

Mr. Phatride, maybe you should take advice when you ask it. If you can't tell, these are NGK plugs, stock number 6097 NGK part nmber BKR7E. I can take several pics from different angles if it is not clear to you. I can even go pull them out of my motor and photo the actual plug too.

Why would I answer a question with the wrong answer? I am trying to help you out. I suppose I could go to NAPA and buy them and send them to you. But ****. Why not make sure you are right before you tell people they are wrong and dismiss their help?

Maybe the guy at NAPA is a moron.

Next time I'll be like everyone else and just tell you to do a search.

Britt

p.s. It's 122 Vega BTW

Just a word of advice...if you try to order them from NAPA, and they are back ordered, just forget it and look somewhere esle. I had mine on order for over a week, T3ase tried to get me some from NAPa, back ordered there as well. I even had them delayed through Summit. I got two, and the other 2 didn't show up for another 4 or 5 days. I wouldn't pay over $10 total though. These aren't worth more than that. I've seen a few places selling them for upwards of $5 each.

What's an extra $5 to have them shipped to your door? Vega is right too, mine look exactly like that.

I don't think I am being a dick about it. Someone asks for advice from people who have done something, they tell him what he needs to do, and he comes back and says they are wrong. That's ****** up. He could have come back and said "Gee, the guy at Napa is a buttplug and he couldn't find them in his super computer. Any other suggestions?" See, that is much better than saying we are wrong without knowing the truth...I don't want to turn away new members, but there could be a more diplomatic approach to not understanding something.

Why does your location say Chicago? Are you from there and going to UI?

Just curious as I grew up in Potomac... (small town near Champaign Urbana)

Yea the "-11 on the end means they are a special design if I remember the NGK catalog correctly. I know that the "B" in the plug # is the size of the threads. I can't remember what the "K" stands for. The "R" means it's a resistor plug. The "7" is the heat range. The lower the # the hotter the plug. I'm a little shady on what the "E" means, but my memory keeps telling me that it just means it's a standard electrode as opposed to platinum or gold electrode.

Autolite also makes some colder plugs just as good (supposedly) as the NGK copper plugs. The # is 3923. Maybe you might want to give these a shot if you can't get ahold of the NGKs.

Anyone can, they're just too cheap to spend a few extra bucks to get them online. It's the same kind of people who leave 10% tips.

I use the ZFR7F-11 plugs in all my turbo mazdas. Extended reach ;) You know for those hard to reach combustion areas.

I believe PN is 2975
