Only thing that doesn't work from the 12a cover is the omp. Put a block off plate on it, premix like ya should be anyway, and you're there... Other than that, there isn't any difference.Mazdaspeedgirl said:I did the research and was told I'd have to modify the 12A cover.
??? I was told it was easier to use the 13B cover. wth?

Oil metering pump. On your car, its the place where the oil leaks from on the front passenger side of your motor. It had a linkage attached to the throttle control of the webers and two oil lines coming out of it, one running to each weber. Rotaries consume crankcase oil in the combustion process to lubricate the seals. If you premix your gasoline 100:1 with TCW3 premix oil, you can get rid of the OMP and its nastiness.(drunk)

And James, I wish I had your motivation. our fb is still sitting waiting for the TII engine/tranny to be put in. All I lack for setting 'er in there is a GSL-SE 13B front cover. Got one handy? will pay BIG $$$!![]()
Mazdaspeedgirl said:Yah, I figured he was, but the problem now is that we got rid of the 12A already. (doh)
