Hi all,

Just a quick query, has anyone had recent contact with Juan from HiBoost?

I have been trying to get in contact with him but haven't had a response since 31st July. (argh)

A friend of mine ordered a turbo kit from him back in the begining of June. Juan said it was instock and would take about a 1-2 weeks. In August after dozens of phone calls and emails with Juan saying it was going out or already out he got 1 box. It had some pipes and silicone in it. Been waiting since and can't get ahold of him either. You missing parts too?

I ordered mine and payment was cleared on 2nd May 07 and have recieved nothing, I sent and email on 13th September asking to cancel the order due to the fact it's taking so long.

Still heard nothing!

It has cost me $5,170 Australian Dollars.

Extremely frustrating.

I think with the whole confritation with this website closing most of all of his threads it put a bad taste in his mouth and he gave up on this website.

Of course he was hard to get in contact even when he was on here but i honestly believe he has moved on to other things. If someone knowingly knows that he is hard to reach and you spend $5k or more with him and never here back from him then that your own fault. I sure as hell wouldn't drop a wad of money on someone that sells a kit but never comes on this forum

One more thing, It's so sad that all of the pioneers that created turbo kits for the Protege have dryed up. Spoolin, Flyin Protege, Hiboost, and I think MAM will probably be on there way out soon as well

He wasn't hard to reach before he recieved my money and I heard many praises about him on a couple of forums. It's not much to ask to get something you've paid for and within a resonable time frame.

That's how it should be I agree with you all the way. Unfortunately Juan likes to play hide and go seek with people and there money.

I'm sure you will eventually get the kit just a matter of when is another thing

It's really said that Juan is like this. I just got through reading some posts about the 1.6 that he did making 290whp. I would love to do another turbo car that's a 1.6 using his kit but damn i just won't risk it with him disapeering all the time. Maybe later on i'll do another after I do my Boss Stang

He's just hard to get a hold of. As far as I know he hasn't ever not sent someone their kit. I think he just gets more work than he can handle. I know thats no exscuse and he should just hire more people to help, but I'm sure you'll get your parts.

Blind faith my ass, I've bought this kit from him. And have seen many cases before of people who have bought his kits, and the fact is that he is very slow to ship and respond. My whole point of responding was to say I'm sure he'll get his parts. Why don't you calm your ass down since its not even your problem.

Bad assumption, I asked him FACE-TO-FACE and he was definitely not sour about it.

HiBoost has DEFINATELY not died, you can only assume that if you only read this forum. It shows you know your stuff considering you're lost about MAM.
