Hiboost vs. iON?

I am getting ready to get a front mount Intercooler for my msp. My question is,is it worth it to drop the big bucks on the ion system? I will totally spend $1200 on my car,but i want to be positive that its worth it...is there any other FMIC's out there that come close to the ion as far as quality and HP gains?

We were able to test both systems, the ION and ours, last saturday at the same boost levels, same day and same ambient temperature at the dyno.

Our kit was almost 10 degrees celsius cooler than Ion and the results were 22 more whp.

I think this is for the pipe going to close to the exhaust manifold on the IONs.

That sounds really great i will buy your kit by the end of this year. so you are saying that the ion has less horsepower gains . i will like to see the dyno sheets on both the hiboost and the ion. thanks hiboost.

1. 22 whp is awesome...do you mean you got that in conjunction with more boost? I am just trying to find out how much HP the FMIC will give me if i put it on a stock msp.
2. I just read that it comes with a BOV...is the BOV it comes with loud? b/c i want very badly that loud rush of air sound..if its not loud enough for me can i buy another aftermarket BOV and replace it?

We had two cars at the same boost level on the same dyno and at the same conditions.

Both have E6X with same program, same injectors and same boost level.

With our FMIC kit most guys can run 10 psi on 91 or 12 on 93 octane fuel.

The kit does come with a HKS recirculating valve that is a bit noisy, but with the TYPE S should be even louder.

If you want the TYPE S, we can get it with the kit .

Kit is $900.00 shipped or 1,050.00 with the type S

That is exactly the BOV i was going to get! this great man i am def. interested...you WILL be hearing from me.
one more question...i am no pro so i will be letting a shop do the install for me, i know prices vary from place to place but does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to get this kind of FMIC installed? ball-park estiment

kit is awsome man u will love it. super easy install to, hardest part is the fan deal but no biggie at all!! dont let the others scared u away i have very few mods and made 226whp on 10psi 13.55@102 also

Thats awesome man..what mods do you have to make 226 whp? and run a 13? i will still have to have a mechanic do the install though..yea i know i suck (braindead
