Whats up guys Im new the the 3 part of this forum. I traded in my white p5 for a silver 3s tonight. Not really sure on what my plans for it are, first things first, im going to see if I can sell my p5 mods, then go from there. If I cant unload the megan racing exhaust Im just going to have the muffler itself cut and welded onto the stock piping I think.

-Handling is pretty good, I figured body roll would be alot more, I drove the ortega highway home after buying it, (nice and windy road) and almost felt as at home on that road as I did in the 5.
-The clutch doesnt feel all too different, but it feels a bit grabby when pushing and releasing the pedal, even when just sitting there doin that....normal?
-This is my first new brand new car, (bought w\ 4 miles on it) and I know there are a billion different ways to break it in, so I wont even ask how.

Now I noticed there is a -HOW TO section, but when I go to it there is only like one or two things there? Is that it or is there another section where there are more DIY mods etc?

Thanks and hopefully this will be my last car for some good time (cheers)

haha save your money...just do small DIY mods for the time being so you can get that house

i had a white p5 and i now have a silver 3s hatch. but i did have a black rx-8 in between there aswell :)

Adjust your display options so you're looking at posts "From The Beginning". There are 27 threads in there but not many recent ones.

Welcome to the other side!! (thumb)

Congrats man! Silver and white are the best colors, IMO. I travel Ortega Highway everyday, its an awesome road once you drive it often enough to know the curves. Where did you buy your car and where do you live? I drive from San Juan Capistrano to Murrieta everyday.

I bought it from tustin mazda. I drive from Murrieta (where i live) to salt creek bout 2-3 times a week to bodyboard, so im fairly well aquanted with the road. I think suspension will be the first thing I do, I miss the tightness of the p5. 60-65 on the ortega turns was a blast, specially when people who hadnt driven it with me before. Last night I was only tough enough to attempt 55ish, I wasnt about to run it like normal in a new car im not familiar with.

Oh and thanks goldwing for the advice. stupid browsers.

oh yeah, and 125mph feels like 80mph in my car

found that almost the hard way today headed toward west palm beach on 95

saw a state popo on the right side and had slowed down enough in time hehehhee

I usually go about 60, anything above that is getting a little dangerous....unless there isn't anyone else on the road.

well, speedo said 125, and goes up to 140...

just because the speedo says 140 doesn't mean s***... and if it said 125 either you were going down a hill (maybe..??) or you are bs'in, either way i don't care, i was just sayin that the govener kicks in at 118... trust me
