Hi all,
Coming to you all for help/suggestions...
I live in Colombia and I own a CX-30 Mild Hybrid with the 2.0L ... Bought the car new and when the clock hit 57 KM I got a Charging System Malfunction light followed by all kinds of systems disabled and check engine light...
Code started to clear, came back again, replaced battery with AGM battery with better specs. Workshop confirmed no battery program needed.
I am not at 1000 KM and the same malfunction comes and goes, there is no pattern.
Sometimes it comes on at idle, sometimes it comes on when slowing down for traffic, sometimes it comes on after driving uphill behind a slow moving vehicle and most recently, 3 days in a row, it comes on at first start up of the morning.
I've check the two top grounding points, tightened the terminals. Voltage from battery at rest after sitting all night is 12.6V, car running sits at 14V ...
Lights do not go on when the car is in the workshop, (go figure) although a low voltage code was stored, it does clear itself. I am stumped and the workshop (Mazda) can't even see what's happening with it.
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or what else I could be checking. Thanks a bunch!
