Help!!

Hey guys,

So I put two quarts of oil in my 2007 3 on Wednesday and I put another two in about half an hour ago or so. Well after doing so I'm now getting a smoke out of my tailpipe along with very slow acceleration response. Is this just a case of having too much oil in the car or what?

Does your dipstick show the oil level too full? Don't you check the dipstick before and after adding oil?
If it's too full drain enough oil to bring the level down to the full mark and see if that solves the problem.

I'm confused as to why you would add 4 quarts in 4 days. That would indicate your sump was almost
empty? If it was that low you may have some internal engine damage.
