I have my midnight p5 for 6months now im new to this club just sayin HI!!!

i got a ractive intake waiting to be installed does anyone have closer pics of their ractive intake?? im not certain where the small black box connects

hey there buddy. Where you located at? There are a couple of group meets happening around the U.S. and Canada. I'm sure you might be able to hook up with some people on the board. There is tons of info on the board too, just search, and ye shall find (most of the time). Welcome again!

Hey Razor you going to put a crank case filter breather on there? Or just leave it open?
Not sure on our DE motors but the DSM motors would spray small amounts of oil from it.

In your picture there is a hose that normally goes from the top of the valve cover to the back intake track.

People take it off cause all it is doing is sending excess hot air back into the intake track.

You don't have yours, and some people replace it with a filter

Just wondering if you notice any oil build up around the air without a filter on it?

On the DSM motors it could be pretty bad.

oh i see what youre tlaking about...for one, i now have the CAI, with the hose hooked up, secondly, that pic was taken when i was takin off the ebay intake to put on the CAI thats why the hose isnt there

yes yes that lil irritating box was wat i was talking about: you see this ractive is 2 pieces of metal pipes joined with rubber bracelets, and in the picture that box was sueezed between 2 rubber bracelets, i was wondering how i will squeeze that black thing between..thats wats confusing i never popped the hood b4 so yah lol

my GPS is Garmin's Streetpilot III u know it? its so common in USA and i guess its the most expensive portable gps made for cars..-mianly coz its in color

ok, one rubber fitting goes to the intake manifold at the back of the engine (the big gaping hole), next the first pipe, then a rubber fitting, then the box, then another rubber fitting, then the second pipe, then the filter...every place something is joined together, make sure you have the metal bracelet thingys tight

but u know what!? that stable thing didnt come out of my box!! i called them and asked one they didnt send one yet so im using the sandbag ..where do u live?

california.. -=) i got mine from a friend who got it for xmas an never used it.. i only payed $300 for it. -=)sealed box.. it was awesome.. anyhow.. im off work now.. message me if u have any questions

wat??!! 300$?!?! USD?? i paid 1300CDN for mine!! but it was right out from da box =) ur friend hasnt used his either so urs was brand new too ...wow dude lucky u =)
