Hellahorn vs Sickspeed horns?

i looked up the differences between he two horns. Nothing really but does anyone know if the sickspeeds are as weatherproof as the hellas? The hellas come stock on some subies so they have to be weatherproof. And another thing, does anyone have a pair of either of these horns for sale? i was to late for the special deal and im wanting some asap

When did the Hellas become stock equipment for Subies? I had to install a set for my '02 WRX.

i thought they did? maybe its cause i see them on them so much i just assumed they came stock

Right now I have sickspeed horn abs man they are great and looks good too. Love my ride with them in front of my grill.

Wow...that was loud. And I had my speakers pretty low (boom01)

and the video truely doesn't do it justice.......LOL

I drive out through the country side everyday back and forth to work.......1 week after I got my P5, I hit a BUZZARD and took out the windshield, that will never happen again. About a month after doing my horn mod, I came up over the bridge going home and could see about 3 or 4 buzzards eating on something in the road.....they were about 100 yards away......hit the horn and they SCATTERED and were GONE!!!

Was just on eBay Sickspeed horn $24.95 and Harness $18.75 sick deal I know I'll be ordering mine soon!

Your fuse box has a built in relay that runs to your stock horn. You can splice the wire to run to both horns. I have been running that setup for over a year with no issues. You can wire it with a relay but it's not necessarily. Here is a link to wiring schematics

I've heard that the stock horn isn't really 12v.. Any truth to this?
