2003 mazda protege 5
ok i got a p5 back in may its midnight blue and i have done two things to it one was put a pioneer avx7300 motorize screen in it and the other is put some gunmetal taillights. i was lookin online one day and saw a p5 with some gunmetal aftermarket headlights. i was wondering if anyone can help me out with where i can get some for my p5. right now i'm in the process of lookin for a mint blue bodykit with a type 2 rear skirt. in a few weeks i plan on dropping it either 1.5 or 2 inches using either st lowering springs or hks springs. 2 blue l.e.d. underbody kits and then switchin from automatic to manuel.

thought of that but i asked the dealership about it and they told me i would void my warrenty so i rather see if i can get the aftermarket gunmetals

you may be able to buy some used painted headlights tho, look around on the for sale section

only way is through japan or canda. if u wanna spend about a grand for headlights, be my guest. if u wanna keep your warranty while doing mods to your car, good luck buddy :) its a real pain ;) - chris

www.corksport.com - check out their site

edit ask your dealership to order canadian headlights with smoke housing if u want them and want to keep warranty

The tranny thing would be cheaper and a better install if you just did a trade in. Did you just decide that it would be better after gettin it or what. There are plenty of good mods that you can do to an Auto Tranny to make it better.

thaTS why i am gonna switch it to a manuel and i already looked at the dealership to see if i could trade it in and they told me all they got in was automatics. i priced it and it is gonna cost me about 3 grand

but wouldnt lowering your car void your warranty also? if so then might as well bake! haha!

Holy Dog s***!! 3 Large?

you can turbo your car, but just dont go nuts and put 12 psi.... tha automatic trannies are not as strong.

Lowering the car will not void the warranty. Neither will painting your lights. In order for something to not be coverd under warranty they have to prove that the item you tampered with or replaced caused the problem. Messing with one item wont void the entire warranty. Now if you lower your car and scrape your muffler off your warranty is not gonna cover it. By baking your headlights the only thing that wouldn't be coverd is if something happened to the headlights. Don't let the fear of the dealership and warranty issues keep you from moddin your car.
