has anyone ever changed their headlight bulbs?? i'm trying to do it, but on the regular lights (not the brights) i can't get the electrical connector off the housing to get the rubber sealer off. there is to much crap in the way. anybody have any suggestions or has anyone run into the same problem??

once again blackie is my idol

maybe you can give me a few tips at the prescott meet. its gonna be my first and i'm stoked to check out fellow local P5's. my hands are way to big, i can' get the connector off i've been trying for 45 minutes. thanks

I've had to replace three of those damn headlights (there's something wrong with my electrical)

Anyways, one of the sides is really easy (I think the driver side) but the other side is a pain in the ass cause there's crap in the way. I've got big hands too, so its hard to get it out. I ended up cutting myself a number of times, but all you have to do is pull really hard. If you want to find out how hard you have to pull then do it on the opposite side first (to get a feel for it)...

basically - pull hard, cut yourself a few times, shout at your car, and all will be good.

goodluck

If I didn't live on the edge of Maricopa County I'd invite you out to help you. The passenger side is the hardest side to work with.

headlights suck

hahahaha i just dislocated my finger pulling so hard and it didn't even budge. oh man that one stung a bit. back to square one.

Yep, the passenger side blows. Just changed mine last night. Grab the plug with a pair of channel lock pliers and pry it off. That damn washer fluid tank is right in the way. It'll come off, just takes a bit of work...

i got farily large hands and i did it with no problem, just wiglle it a lil at a time it will eventually come off
