2008.5 MS3, Does anyone know if there is a way to change the greeting on the display when the car is turned on? It says hello, and that is stupid i want to customize it. Help please, and thank you.
Unfortunately, don't think there's any way. I've been on this forum for 3+ yrs and saw mebbe 1 post like yours and there were no solutions, IIRC. Sorry! I know I'd like mine to say something more spiffy, too...(band)
Probably so, but you'd have to get into the firmware of the unit. Whatever line of code is in it that says "Hello" could be changed to say something different.
damn... thanks guys. I was hoping something along the lines of proposing to my gf of 4 years lol kinda cheesy but she loves my car almost as much as i do lol
