GP Light Weight Protege pulleys

Finally got around to installing the powersteering pulley (got here late, so it had to wait), and the grooves are machined incorrectly.
I saw a few other people mentioned it, but it was never addressed by Brach.

We just discovered my PS pulley has the same issue. Grooves don't line up.
I had not checked in to see if there was mention of recent issues.

I PM'd Brach and I am replacing with stock pulley.

WHAT?!?! How do you mean they don't line up? I haven't got around to installing mine yet and I didn't even know about this problem until now.

Me neither.
Apparently affects 1st batch.
Brach has already responded (very promptly) to me via PM re: replacement.

The grooves seem to be a bit thicker so the belt rides in a "U" shape. I didn't know we have the option for a replacement, but mine's already on and I don't know if I wan't to change it out again. Install wasn't hard but I'm also not having any problems.

i bought my pulley from another user very early on, around when they were first being shipped out. how do i know if i have one that doesn't line up? is the only way i can tell by comparing to stock or what?

Are all the PS pulleys from the original run having this problem? I bought mine from the first run as well...

same question has his above me.

maybe serial numbers are in order? each batch ends in a diff number or something. just a thought.

Yes sir I got it...does it come with the improved screws?

Yes. it is a design all the way around.
