Well, it finally caught up to me, I was headed to the attorneys office to close on my house and running a little behind, probably wouldn't have mattered though, on this nice curvy backroad between Roswell and Canton, when I got nailed by 2 coppers on motorcycles. they had a nice spot in the shade picked out right as you come flying around a curve. The bad news was 71 in a 35, yeah getting ready to take it up the poop shute! He did the normal safety downtalking and threatened to arrest me for reckless driving, but opted for just the ticket. I am guilty and have no one to blame but myself, but if anyone around can help me with any connections to get this lowered or dropped it would be so greatly appreciated. Good news is a now am a home owner. Please help me out and remember "slow down".

get a lawyer, i once got a ticket for doin 103 in a 70, no points, no fines :D

even though you got the ticket, i'm sure it was worth it having fun through those twisties... :)

Congrats on the house... DOH!!! on the ticket.

I'd think about a lawyer. That's a pretty bad one. Sucks there were 2 cops and all...
It's probably a miracle I haven't gotten a ticket in 5 years. {knocks on wood}

Ouch... Sorry to hear about the ticket.

WOOT! I have driving school this weekend. I got two tickets back in May. : ) Both by radar/cameras not by an actual cop.

Which county is that? I know someone that has a lot of stroke in Cobb.
Unfortunately it is in Fulton, my plan of action now is to meet with the court solicitor (?sp?) and try to bargin it down to a lower speed. We did it with my wife couple years ago and they reduced it significantly. We'll see, don't care if I pay something, just don't want it to be that high you know. 36 miles over, that sucks.

sucks about the ticket...maybey we can keep up with ya on the highway now j/k

Good job on the house though whens the first party??

what i did was, i went to a driver saftey course before i went to court, and i told the judge this, and it showed that i valued my license and he went easy on me.

I am going to meet with the judge asap and tell him I am going to take a DD course and plead with him to drop it or lower it, its my first ticket in Roswell so he might go for it.
