Hello.

For anyone interested in new brakes mght want to check out this link. Brembo Cross Drilled Rotors.

Don't know if the price is good or not. Never shopped for aftermarket brake products.

Brembo Brake Rotors

Go with slotted. Cross drilled isn't as good for a daily driver.

Cross drilled looks good, but sloted work better. Cross drilled can cause uneven wear on your pads. Slotted just basically wipe clean your pads every time they pass a slot. Cross drilled are for cooling, which isn't really needed unless you are in a race or something like that. Sorry, an auto x doesn't qualify as a race where your brakes are going to heat up a lot. But slotted do look very good.

what about slotted and crossdrilled? would they be good for a daily driver?

Alright....the old argument about pads......
YEs, drilled cools faster, but marginally.
The point of BOTH slotted and drilled is for gas release, cooling is a nice side effect.
I've heard everything on parts-for-sale pages from "reduces weight" to "cools faster" to whatever else. Rotors that heat and cool really fast would CRACK, that's not the point. When the rot's get really hot, superheated gases build up over the surface of the rotor, and in between the pad and rotor. This creates a superslick area (someone else on this site did a good analogy using hydroplaning) that reduces braking effectiveness. Obviously, if you're cooling the rotors, there's less heat (hence the drilled argument) but the quickest solution is to just give the gas (and pressure) somewhere to go so that there is contact between pad and rotor.
THAT is the primary advantage of both drilled and slotted, with some added cooling advantage with drilled.
Both styles cause greater wear (relative to a smooth rotor), and yes (big_ben is right) cross drilled can cause uneven wear.
happy hunting!(drinks)

i have those exact rotors. i installed yesterday. it was so easy. i love the way they look. don't know if it helps performance, i think it does. either way, i am very happy with the way i spent my money. if you want pics, look in the photo section
